1. Metavision offers flexible blended online and intensive workshop study options to support students balancing work, caregiving, or other life commitments. Students seeking Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) recognition will be required to attend in-person intensives in accordance with PACFA accreditation requirements.

Rules of progression:

1. Full-time students complete four units per semester.
2. Part-time students typically complete two units per semester.
3. All required units for each semester must be completed before progressing to the following semester.
4. Enrolment into 200 level units requires successful completion of all 100 level units.
5. If units are not completed on time, students may need to wait until the following year to retake them, depending on availability.
6. If a unit is not passed, students will be required to complete the current version of that unit when it is next offered.

Breaks in progression:

1. Students may apply to withdraw from their enrolled course or to take a period of leave of up to 12 months.
2. Students who require a break longer than one year from the course may re-enter the course at a later date and will be eligible for credit for units previously completed in the course.
3. Where a significant course change has occurred between withdrawing and re-entering the course credit is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis according to the Credit policy

Clarification on Deferral Durations:

• Graduate Diploma : If a student is granted a formal deferral (e.g., for a period of 6 months), the maximum period for course completion is extended by the duration of the approved deferral.
  • Example: If a part-time student defers for 6 months, the maximum time to complete the course would be extended from 3 years to 3.5 years from the initial date of enrollment. If a full-time student defers for 6 months, the maximum time to complete the course would be extended from 1 year to 1.5 years.
• Masters Clarification: If a student is granted a formal deferral (e.g., for a period of 6 months), the maximum period for course completion is extended by the duration of the approved deferral.
• • Example: If a part-time student defers for 6 months, the maximum time to complete the course would be extended from 6 years to 6.5 years from the initial date of enrollment. If a full-time student defers for 6 months, the maximum time to complete the course would be extended from 2 year to 2.5 years.
