Academic Study Skills Assistance

Academic study skills assistance available for students includes:

  • An academic skills program for help with writing essays and assignments

  • Individual tutoring

  • English language assistance

  • Study groups

  • Mentoring

Library Services

The library is located at the Head Office Hub in 82 Burradoo Road Burradoo and is open to students Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and during workshop intensives.

Electronic resources are available in online classrooms through the Sophia eLearning portal.

Special Consideration

Students in need of support with their study as a result of circumstances affecting their study may apply for special consideration, including assignment extensions.

The special consideration form is accessible on the forms page.

IT Support

For help and advice with logging into Sophia and accessing online classrooms, email support@metavision.edu.au.

Reasonable Accommodation for Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities may apply for reasonable adjustment by emailing the Academic Director with a letter from their medical or health practitioner on their disability and likely impacts on study, and reasonable accommodation required.

Support at Workshop Intensives

Assistants who are graduates of Metavision Institute are available throughout the on-campus workshop intensives to provide support and guidance for students with their study and personal and professional development.

Counselling

Students need to complete five hours of personal therapy during the first year and 10 hours during the second year of the Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy Course. Qualified and registered counsellors and psychotherapists can be found via the PACFA website.
