The Graduate Diploma offers a strong foundation in holistic counselling and psychotherapy. It’s ideal for those beginning their journey or looking to integrate counselling skills into an existing profession. This course can be completed fully online or in a blended format.
The Master’s builds upon the Graduate Diploma with advanced therapeutic skills, professional practice, and research. It’s best suited to those wanting to become PACFA-registered counsellors and includes in-person learning intensives as part of the PACFA-accredited, blended delivery option.
Our Specialist Training Program offers the same core content as the Master’s and is PACFA-accredited, making it a valuable path for those looking to deepen their skills in holistic counselling.
A few things to note:
This program is especially supportive for practising counsellors seeking to meet PACFA criteria or enhance their current qualifications through a holistic lens.

Your enrolment is protected. As a registered higher education provider with TEQSA (Australia’s national higher education regulator), Metavision Institute is required to have teach-out arrangements in place for TEQSA accredited courses to ensure students can complete their studies even if a course is discontinued.
We have formal course assurance agreements with other registered providers in place and continuing to expand these arrangements so that students have options that suit their location and mode of study. This means that if Metavision Institute were ever unable to continue delivering a course, eligible students would have a pathway to finish their qualification through a partner institution, with credits for completed study recognised.
If you have specific questions about how these protections apply to your enrolment, please contact our team at enquiries@metavision.edu.au.
Our Student Advocate is here to support you if you have a concern, complaint, or dispute during your studies. The Student Advocate can help you understand your options, talk through what’s happened, and support you to raise a concern informally or lodge a formal complaint if needed.
The Student Advocate also leads our response to gender-based violence and is a confidential first point of contact if you need to disclose or seek support around this.
Contact: Deanne Reyes, Student Advocate
Email: deanne@metavision.edu.au
Speaking with the Student Advocate is confidential and free. You don’t need to have already decided what you want to happen; they can help you work that out.
If your complaint or concern involves the Student Advocate, you can still get support and have your say. Contact Kate Ibrahim (Administration Manager) for non-academic matters kate@metavision.edu.au, or Jessica Bailey (Education Coordinator) for academic matters jessicabailey@metavision.edu.au.
You can also skip straight to Stage 2 of the Complaints process and submit the Complaint and Appeals Form directly to the Dean.
