A Legacy of Holistic Education and Conscious Transformation

Metavision Institute was born from a vision to bring depth, presence, and meaning into the helping professions — a vision that continues to evolve today.

Founded by Christina Nielsen in 2004, Metavision grew out of her four decades of clinical experience and study across psychotherapy, social work, acupuncture, and anthroposophy.

Encouraged by her students to share her integrative approach more widely, Christina established Metavision’s first training courses in Bowral, following the creation of the Bundaroo Centre for Natural Health in 2001.

From these beginnings — with just nine students in the first intake — Metavision has grown into a nationally recognised higher education institute.

Grounded in the philosophies of Rudolf Steiner and Arnold Mindell, its holistic model weaves together depth psychology, process-oriented theory, and traditional healing wisdom.

This integration continues to shape Metavision’s unique approach to counselling, psychotherapy, and personal transformation.

Today, Metavision welcomes students from across Australia and beyond, drawn from diverse backgrounds and united by a shared commitment to holistic practice.

With more than 200 graduates, the Institute has become a leader in therapeutic training that unites heart, mind, and spirit, preparing practitioners to bring consciousness and care into their communities.

In 2024, Christina entrusted the Institute to new custodians, marking the beginning of a new chapter.

Guided by the same vision that inspired Metavision’s creation, the new leadership team is carrying this legacy forward, continuing to evolve the Institute in alignment with its founding purpose: to educate for healing, wholeness, and the evolution of consciousness.
