Metavision Institute is dedicated to providing students with comprehensive learning resources and a supportive infrastructure to facilitate academic success. The Institute’s approach encompasses learning support materials, technology, physical environments, and library resources, with ongoing efforts to enhance these provisions.
Learning Support Materials
Metavision Institute currently offers a suite of learning support materials, including a writing skills webinar and a Moodle module. The Institute recognises the need to expand these resources and improve their accessibility. Accordingly, there is a focus on developing additional materials addressing essential academic skills such as essay writing, critical analysis, time management, study strategies, and examination preparation. Referencing support is also being strengthened through dedicated workshops, easily accessible recordings, and clearly defined expectations.
Library Resources
Metavision Institute provides students with access to essential library resources through both a physical collection located at the Brisbane CBD premises and a comprehensive e-Library accessible online. These resources are integral to supporting students’ research and study needs.
Technology
Metavision Institute leverages technology to provide a robust learning environment, primarily through its learning management system (LMS), Moodle. This platform is generally regarded as sufficient in terms of quality, currency, and relevance for delivering learning content.

The task of the student representative is to act as a conduit to the Academic Board for students’ voices who wish to bring academic issues to a body other than the administration or teachers. This may include issues of curriculum, content or delivery and concerns with students. It is also to take information back to students from Metavision and to help students access personnel and resources at Metavision when needed.
The Teaching and Learning Committee is responsible for the overseeing of the feedback distributing this to administration, teachers and the learning committee where it is addressed and a response provided back to the students.
The library is located at the Head Office Level 3/97 Creek St, Brisbane City, QLD and is open to students Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and during workshop intensives.
Electronic resources are available in online classrooms through the Sophia eLearning portal.

Metavision Institute is actively working to increase the representation and inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our staff, student body, and wider community. Students need to complete five hours of personal therapy during the first year and 10 hours during the second year of the Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy Course. Qualified and registered counsellors and psychotherapists can be found via the PACFA website.
