PACFA Accreditation

Metavision is proud to announce that we have received notification of PACFA accreditation for our new Specialist Training in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy for the maximum period of 5 years, until 2025.

Metavision's Professional and Specialist Training Programs

Metavision's flagship holistic psychotherapy course has been accredited with PACFA since 2011. The current PACFA Specialist Training Program (STP) is an evolved version of the original PACFA accredited course, the Professional Training in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy (PTP).

The STP PAFCA course exists for those that do not need or wish to study the Graduate Diploma or Masters Programs but still want to practise as a Holistic Psychotherapist or Holistic Counsellor, or for those that wish to study the Metavision approach to improve their self-reflection, find purpose in their lives and improve their personal and professional relationships.

Specialist Training in Counselling - One Year

A Specialist Training in Counselling (Holistic Practice) one year. Ideal for those wishing to deepen and extend counselling skills, this course covers a holistic approach to the person, application of this approach to counselling, and an introduction to process oriented methodologies and skills. The aim of holistic counselling is to promote critical questioning and reflection on the human condition and spirituality, and their relationship to wellbeing.

While this course is not a pathway to PACFA membership, it augments other training you already have with a Holistic approach.

Specialist Training in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy - Two Year

The Specialist Training in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy (two-year course) has Specialist accreditation with PACFA. This training is designed to develop specialised and advanced knowledge and skills in holistic counselling and psychotherapy and process oriented methodologies and skills. The aim of holistic counselling and psychotherapy is to promote critical questioning and reflection on the human condition and spirituality, and their relationship to wellbeing. The training will facilitate the formation of graduates as psychotherapists.

Graduates are eligible to apply to PACFA for membership and register listing via the Equivalent Training or RPL pathway. In addition to the content of the 1 year course, this course

Student membership of PACFA is free and is highly recommended.
